My experience at Keffer was great as far as my trade-in goes. I was at the dealership last Saturday to have some repairs on my 2010 Genesis Coupe, as I was waiting, I thought I would look around the lot to see the new and pre-owned cars. I was approached my Davian Robinson as he was showing another customer some cars. I liked that he was not pushy and said he was available if I had any questions. I had a few set backs with the service department before, so I e-mailed the owner about my concerns in which I shared with Davian. I got a chance to speak to the owner, after I learned that he was in the dealership that day. Mr. Moser listened to my concerns and was willing to address my issues. I was so impressed with him and Davian that I decided to trade my car in for another one. Davian was real helpful and professional, and help me out with everything, this was the easiest car deal I ever had. I will shop Keffer again, for my next Hyundai. I will be looking for Davian as my salesman again. I would rate his service as a 10.

My salesperson, Stuart Phelps, was great and still is!  He calls to check in and has followed up with everything he said he would, like sending me the extra key to my Sonata.  This was my first car-buying experience and it went very well.  I was naturally a little nervous, but Stuart was very friendly and not pushy, and helped make it a great experience for me.  I got a great deal and I love the car, and I would recommend Keffer Hyundai, and especially Stuart to anyone looking to buy a car.  I purchased a certified pre-owned car and couldn't be happier!  Hyundai has a great warranty, which carries over as the remainder of the original warranty when you buy CPO.  I highly highly highly recommend Stuart!  You won't be dissappointed; he is very laid back and makes everything as easy for you as possible!

I have never been treated so well at any Dealership or sales representative than Keffer Hyundai and Chip Conley! I originally had visited Lake Norman Hyundai in Cornelius, due to the fact that it was closer to my home, but after the unprofessional way I was treated there, I sent an email to Chip and immediately received a caring and professional response to my needs. I visited Keffer Hyundai and immediately felt comfortable with Chip and the GM JB. I was in market for a new Azera, but Chip and JB worked to present me with the best situation to help me get out of my trade and into a vehicle that would best suit my financial needs. Scott Cramblitt is the best sales person at Keffer Hyundai and the best sales person we have experienced across many different Hyundai dealerships (as well as other brands).  Scott provided evidence as to why we should be a Hyundai only household and backed it up with actual results.  Today, we only drive Hyundai cars.

When the JB, the Sales Manager called us to let us know they were having a difficult time finding the exact car we wanted, we were a little disappointed.  But then he was excited to let us know he just received three 2013 model vehicles that had everything we were looking for but just not in the color we wanted.  When we hurried to the dealership, the 2013 Desert Bronze Elantra with black interior was beautiful.  Chip was very helpful, patient and I believe he even stayed later in the evening than he wanted to so he could be sure we knew how all the instruments in the car worked.  We will certainly send referrals and if ever in the market for another car, wouldn't hesitate to go back to Keffer and visit Chip!!

Excellent Buying Experience!  5 out of 5 stars!  After carefully doing my research on a variety of hybrids on the market, I decided to come test drive and focus my search on the 2012 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid.  I called the dealership but the vehicles were not available on the market yet.  But a week later, Crystal Cranford called me back telling me the 2012's had arrived right off the truck, and she promptly scheduled my test drive with no pressure, to see if I even liked it.  She gave me all the insight to buying a hybrid, since I never had owned one.  She was very professional, knew all about the vehicle, took her time to show me all the features, technology, and comparisons & packages.   I took her on an in depth test drive, because I completely wanted to test the braking, acceleration and functionality of the car, which she didn't mind (Hope I didn't make her sick driving LOL).  She let me take the car through the paces and test drive it with my wife and 2 year old to make sure it was a good fit.  She was patient to let me install a car seat into my test drive. (LOL, thanks for being patient with a dad, Crystal).  But Crystal and Keffer was professional and very nice throughout the entire buying process. Didn’t feel any real preasure, more of that southern hospitality charm which is needed at many places today.  More of a professional, no rush, and let’s just have a conversation about what you need and what you are looking for in a new car, style buying experience. They gave me good deal on my trade in, and earned my business through answering my questions, and helping me, and I put them to the test testing their knowledge, which they did know their stuff and specs of the vehicle.  (I've been to dealers where I knew 80 times more than the sales person about the car, which isn't good).  So Crystal was very knowledgeable, walked me through all aspects of the car, including the warranty and the hybrid battery warranty that was implemented on the 2012 hybrids this year.  Overall, Crystal and the staff went the extra mile to accommodate me in my buying experience, and worked with me, and helped work with me on a good deal, good price and the car with all the featured I specified.  So I thank Keffer for that.  You are a great dealership, and you can feel that aura right when you walk in (unlike other dealers, where you get stares or get surged like a flock of seagulls).  Keffer is clean, tidy, modern and everyone was kind from the moment I walked in the door, down to the receptionist by the front door.  It’s the people that make the difference!  Keffer has some good quality people for sure!  One thing I do commend Keffer on, is not putting the silly logo right on the back tailgate like Bob Mayberry does, YUCK, I can’t stand that. Keffer does a classy license plate frame, and kept it clean, no horrible badge-ing of cars (well not on mine), so keep that up, keep is classy don’t put horrible badge-ing on your cars.  Just drive around town and look at the Bob Mayberry sonatas, they look horrible, because of the HUGE Bob Mayberry logo slapped to the back.  Keffer, keep it classy J ! Keffer is very professional down to the finest detail, and I commend you for that.  Another tip, was they took me on a tour of the service department and showed me around the dealership, so they want a relationship, which is good (Other dealers keep you away from the service department, but I was impressed they showed it to me).  I will be back in a few years, to purchase another one!! Thanks so much for the wonderful buying experience.  If you need a good sale person who is smart, will go the extra mile for you and a pleasure to work with Crystal is awesome, so I highly recommend her!  Thanks!!

They got the price lower than all other Hyuandai dealerships could go and they had pretty fast service with friendly sales reps.  I met with several of them and bought a elantra limited.  Crystal, Bob, Chip, and Kayla were all very friendly and helpful.

Today, I accompanied a friend who recently purchased a 2009 Accent from Keffer. Drove all the way from Raleigh. Jimmy Knox is an excellent Sales Rep. The way he accommodated my friend's questions and her requests for copies of the paperwork, etc. Everybody we met were so friendly, helpful, welcoming - cheers to the 2 ladies who sit in the front lobby (sorry didn't exchange names). I am a VW fan all the way but this experience made me consider trading in my 2012 GTI for a fully loaded 2012 Genesis Coupe.

That is until we met with the Finance Manager. What an asshole!!! He acted as if he was in a hurry and was being put out by us being in his office. Requests for copies of  paperwork were met with irritation and paging Jimmy over the intercom to come to the office to make the copies for the Finance Manager. What a wanker!!! If I have to deal with this guy at Keffer Hyundai, then I would rather go to another dealership.

Overall though the team at Keffer were very professional, friendly accommodating - try to avoid the Finance guy if you can!

I just got my 2nd Genesis from Keffer Hyundai. I love this car and I love this dealership. Rick Spicer was my awesome sales rep for the 2nd time and Glenn Hildreth is one of the most helpful managers I have ever encountered! The two of them made this such a wonderful experience..which is want you want when you are buying a dream car. Warm, friendly, attentive and personable just to name a few. Everytime I go into the dealership I know I'm going to be greeted with a warmth that you'd only expect from an old friend. Great car buying experience with Dustin and all of the Keffer staff!  I had decided to get another vehicle, and after doing research on dealerships had decided to start at Keffer.  Already picked out the 2009 Santa Fe I was wanting from Keffer's excellent website, and was just going in to test drive/purchase it.  Dustin showed me the SUV, we  took it for a quick test drive, and started the process.  I think it took a total of 2 hours to complete the deal.  Will tell everyone I know to start their car buying experience at Keffer!

 Keffer HYUNDAI has been the best experience for our family in buying a new car. The sales staff, especially Glen, confirms our satisfaction with our Sonata every time he sees me in the service area. It means a lot and I believe thay really care and do not forget you after selling the car to you. They make you feel like your car is like their own. The service department with the leader-ship of service director (Shawn) has been the most helpful and satisfactory experience I have ever had in going to a dealership service since buying my first new car (BMW) more than 20 years ago. What a great experience.  I just purchased a 2012 Santa Fe and my first experience with Keffer was wonderful.  Scott Cramblitt walked me through each level offered and once out on a test drive explained everything to me and found me the exact vehicle that I was looking for.  After the purchase Scott spent time with me to again explain all of my car options, set up the blue tooth and make sure I was well informed driving off of the lot.  He again followed up after I'd had the car a few days - nice to see great customer service.  I'd recommend Scott to anyone looking for a Santa Fe - he's the best.

This is the second time I have bought a car from Keffer.  Last year I worked with Rick Spicer on a vehicle and was looking for him when I entered the showroom.  Jason approached me and from the very start I was comfortable dealing with him.  Jason is new but will be a huge asset to the dealership so keep him happy guys!  While there the experience was the same as the last time.  In fact Rick joined in and helped get my car ready while Jason worked on paperwork!  Great team effort and I left with my new Sonata!  I will be back!

we bought our first hyundai from keffer on fed 2007 from phil rollins.it was great just what car buying should be.we drove the santa fe home that nightvery happy indeed.we kept our santa fe for 4yrs and 57000 mile later we wanted a veracruz.we had talked to niles about 4mths ago and at time we were not sure if we would get the same service we did back in 07.boy was i ever wrong. on oct 6th tis year i took my santa fe in for a service trip. when venie who is also grest told me he didnot have a loaner, then the magic happen. Niles walked up to me and remberd exactiy whta we wanted white veracruiz.he let me drive it to lunch and my wife fell in love with it. now to the best part.Cristel shes is great just like it should be.She had already had the deal worked out when i got back. With everything we wanted encludeing the sunroof.all we had to do was sign the papers.Yes if they stay like this we will back. love Crystel and Niles good work guys keep it up.

I moved to Charlotte, NC from Hollywood, California about a month ago and I had the pleasure of dealing with the Service Department at Keffer Hyundai and I was treated better than ever. I really had fun giving them my money, now how many times can you say that? I'm a customer for life!

I left Keffer Hyundai this afternoon a happy new car owner. Chip Conely did an excellent job in helping close the deal while meeting my financial limitations. He was extremely knowledgebale and courteous during the whole process. I also feel I was sold a good quality automobile even though I was not sure entering the premises if i was actually going to buy a car that day. I will seriously think about Keffer Hyundai when it comes time for my next vehicle purchase.

Chip Connely and the whole team at Keffer Hyundai definitely go out of their way to provide excellent service.  They were much more curtious, friendly, and helpful than any other car dealer I visted while shopping around town.  I'm thrilled with my new 2012 Elantra, and could not have asked for a better car-buying experience!!!

Best service I have EVER had at a dealership. Vince made me feel welcomed and took care of me immediately. I had an 11:30 appointment and drove away at 12:30. Not bad for a dealer. No pressure to sell me anything else. I have two Elantras, a 2011 and a 2012 and plan to bring the other one in for service tomorrow.

It would be nice if they vaccumed out the inside. Just a suggestion.

I was disappointed with how I was treated with my car buying experience with him this time. I felt as though I could have been treated just a little better than I was. My actual salesman Phil Robbins was awesome. This was the second car I purchased from Keffer. And I felt as thought it could have went quicker than two days.

Chip is phenomenal!  We went in with unique situation and he handled it completely well.  His knowledge of the products was amazing.  i have never experienced a salesman that knows as much about all of their products as Chip.  Not only did he tirelessly work to help us in our situation, but spent the time to go over each and every one of the extras on the car.  He was completely thorough in every area.  I have never had a great experience at a car dealership and Chip made this experience worth repeating.  I would certainly go back to Keffer for any future car needs.  Thanks Chip for everything and especially taking so much time with us on your birthday!

Had a appoitment at 11:30am for oil change, and was given a time of 35 min.

at 12:40am (1 hr. later!) I personally had to find a service man, and ask the status of my vehicle.

come to find out, my vehicle was completed, but the paper work was put on a desk where no service man was at! ( who knows how long I might have been there sitting and waiting, if I hadn't asked!!! )

We just purchased a Hyundai Sonata from Rick Spicer.  It was such a pleasant experience. Rick and Sales Manager Glenn Hildreth are genuine, straightforward professionals.  They worked hard to meet our needs and we would recommend them to anyone.

Wow! another person that gave great service. I have to say if Keffer continue to produce this much professional behavior soon everyone would just buy because of the great customer service that has been shown. But seriously Josh is the best his accurate, always helpful, and pleasant to do business with without the hassel. He made our process a smooth transition and for that I can say thank you. It has been a pleasure working with him.

All I can say is awesome service JB represented Keffer Hyundai in the way it should be. I haven't been happy in a long time with Keffer Hyundai due to the service department, and my first sales person Ken Holt. With all the problems I had with my first car I can say JB made it pleasureable to do business again with this dealership. I have never before in my life been blown away by great customer services. He really made it possible to make me and my family proud to say we are customer's of Keffer Hyundai. Excellent that is all I can say just excellent!

My whole experience at Keffer was perfect.   I would not have changed a thing.  Other dealerships seemed to be playing the usual games and I just wanted a straight answer.  I was able to understand what I was getting and what I was paying for.  James Brown has been wonderful to work with and he is so patient.  He had to go over how everything worked several times before I got it - each time he was as patient as the first time.  I also noticed the whole staff was happy and upbeat.  The car is a dream too!!

I reommend this dealership and James Brown to anyone looking for a car!

I don't buy a car every day so all I can remember is the last buying experience:

obnoxious sales person

"What do I have to do to sell you a car today?"

the long wait while the sales person pretends to argue with the sales manager to get 50 dollars more taken off the price

the greasy sales manager bullying you

the need to hurry home to shower after you finally get out of the joint

So that is what I came in expecting.

But to my surprise Chip Conley strolled over, asked if I'd like to drive the car I was looking at....no pressure, no pitch.

We talked.  Some car talk, but also family, football and other things that you talk about with a friend.

After my first visit I knew I liked the Hyundai and more importanty I liked Chip.  

I bought from Chip. He was great.  In fact the whole staff was top-notch.  Organized and accomodating, a well oiled machine.

When you go to Keffer, and you should if you are going to buy a Hyundai, look for the tallest guy in the place, Chip Conley.  Tell 'em what you want, then sit back and let him work his magic.  

Flatter him.  Tell 'em you watched him play basketball at Belmont Abbey.

We had great experience at Keffer Hyundai with the purchase of our 2012 Sonata.

My wife convinced me to go to the dealership to get my car serviced. I told her I would prefer to go somewhere else since the dealership is always more expensive. She told me that Keffer price matches competitor’s coupons. So I went to get an oil change with my coupon. She told me to ask for Vince and now I know why. He was nice and honest. Because he was such a good service advisor I will always come back to get his excellent service!

Thank you Again Chip! I came into the lot on a whim...it was over 100 degrees outside an thought I'd check to see what Hyundai had in the pre-ownered selection. I was in the market for a truck and had a specific budget in mind. Chip didn't insult my intelligence, by showing me other alternatives. He listened and showed me the few trucks and cars that were in my price range. He responded to my inquires. He could have easily ditched me to peruse the lot on my own with the heat the way it was...but he didn't!  Eventhough you had some GREAT pre-owned cars in my qualifications. I chose to go with a Certified Pre-Owned. He helped me find one close to my price range. Now I have no transportation worries...and a great car to boot!

We had a phenomenal experience at Keffer Hyundai. Chip was a great help, leading us to exactly what we looking for at a price we could afford. I started my car research a month ago and settled on a BMW.  To my surprise an actual BMW 5 Series owner asked me to consider test driving a Hyundai Genesis.  I started the dreaded car shopping and stop by Keffer Hyundai and test drove a Hyundai Genesis and was sold immediately.  I purchased a car from James Brown and from start to finish it was one of the best experiences in buying a car. We recently purchased a new 2011 Genesis Coupe from the Keffer Hyundai dealership in Matthews. Our sales representative, Jimmy Knox, was terrific and treated us very fairly.
